File this under things I never thought I’d say before I was vegan: but you don’t know what you’re missing until you’ve had a carrot dog. Marinated and grilled carrots mimic the taste and texture without the mystery meat and cancer causing ingredients of regular hot dogs. There are many commercially made vegan-friendly hot dogs on the market that are plenty tasty but trust me when I say these are worth the try. I checked out several recipes before doing a hybrid of them all, but this is a good one to try. The baked beans were an adapted version of the Canadian Maple Baked Beans from Oh She Glows.
