There really isn’t much difference between a smoothie and a smoothie bowl other than the serving dish and a little less liquid. But something about eating a smoothie from a bowl makes it feel like more of a special treat. My favorite is a combination of frozen cherries, banana, a medjool date, coconut, and rice milk. You can also blend in chia and hemp seeds but part of the bowl experience is layering it up with your favorite toppings so the seeds can wait until the end.
